Rugby (Women's)
Denison University Women’s Rugby Football Club is a club sport available to all female college students. The Women's Rugby team at Denison is Division II and was ranked #4 in the nation entering the 2009-2010 school year and was ranked #1 in Ohio after an undefeated season in the 2011-2012 school year.
The purpose of this organization shall be:
1. The promotion, encouragement and extension of the amateur sport of Women's Rugby.
2. To ensure that the playing of Rugby is within accordance of the laws of the game of Rugby Football and in that uphold all aspects of it in sportsmanship, honor and tradition.
3. In cooperation with similar clubs in this area and others, to come together in hopes of competition within the tradition of the sport.
