Denison Sports Network
Since its inception in 2008, the Denison Sports Network (DSN) has
been providing fans of Denison athletics with online coverage of
Big Red varsity sports.
Since parterning with Stretch Internet in 2010, DSN broadcasted 97 events and reached 8,246 viewers and listeners over three athletic seasons. DSN’s partnership with Stretch Internet also allowed Big Red fans to view select DU athletic events on their computers and cell phones. During the 2010-11 season, the Denison Sports Network offered six video broadcasts in the fall, 10 basketball video streams in the winter, and nine lacrosse video webcasts in the spring.
The Denison Sports Network is offering even more to DU sports fans as it enters the second year of its partnership with Stretch. With the addition of high-speed internet at the soccer, baseball and softball fields, the Denison Sports Network is now be able to offer more video broadcasts during the 2011-12 academic year. Coinciding with the increase in video coverage, DSN will also offer a scoreboard feature that will be updated real time during each sporting contest.
The Denison Sports Network is proud to offer audio and video coverage to all fans of Denison University athletics. If you can’t make it to event or view it live online, all the broadcasts are archived in the Denison Sports Network portal.
Accessing Archived Events
To access an archived event follow these simple steps. First, go to www.denisonbigred.com and click on the link for either “live audio” or “live video” under the multimedia tab to access the DSN portal. Once you are in the portal, click the “On Demand” tab to view all the archived broadcast. Once you find the broadcast you are looking for, click either “Listen” or “Watch” to start the archived event.
