Scott B. Aiken was a four-year letterman on the DU soccer team. He was honored as Denison’s soccer MVP, as well as an All-Ohio and All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection following his sophomore, junior and senior seasons. He was also team captain and named to the All-Mid-East team his junior and senior years.
A geology major and a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, Aiken played on three NCAA soccer tournament squads and broke two 22-year old scoring records (48 career goals, 81 points). He played on the “Team USA” indoor soccer squad in 1984 and was drafted by the Milwaukee Wave in the American Indoor Soccer Association. In 1986, Aiken played on a U.S. All-star team in China.
