Donald Alt was a four year letter winner in both football and baseball at DU. Alt was a captain of the baseball team and posted a .300+ career batting average for the Big Red. In 1952, he was an Ohio Conference first –team defensive end and received the team’s Most Valuable Lineman and Most Valuable Player awards. In his senior season, Alt was named as a Little All-American.

While at Denison, Alt was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity and an officer in the Varsity D Association. He was also a member of Blue Key Club and an officer of the Auto Club. Alt has been active in racquetball and was named to the Ohio Racquetball Association Hall of Fame in ’64 and the International Racquetball Association Hall of Fame in ’96.
