Allison Edsall was a four-year letter winner and four-time National Champion as a member of the Denison women’s swimming and diving team from 1996-99. Edsall became Denison’s 24th recipient of the prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship in 1999 and was a four-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection. She also was named to the College Swimming Coaches Association Scholar All-American team three times.

In the pool, Edsall would record 25 All-America finishes at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, ranking her fourth in the DU record books for career All-America performances. At the NCAA Championships, Edsall won an individual national championship in 1998 in the 100 buttterfly. She would also finish with three more national championships as part of the 200 free relay and the 400 medley relay (twice).
