Hube Foster earned his degree from Denison in 1936.  At Denison, he lettered in football all four years, captaining the team in 1936 and winning All-Ohio honors in his junior and senior seasons.  In 1934, he scored eight touchdowns and in 1935 he scored 10 TDs.  He had an average of seven yards per carry in 1934.

In 1950, Foster coached the freshman football team to an undefeated season.  Quarterbacking the DU frosh that year was Dave Maurer, a member of the DU Athletic Hall of Fame.

Foster also coached Denison’s golf teams for 11 seasons, posting a record of 123 wins, 22 losses and three ties.  Hube captured six Ohio Conference titles, including five in his final six seasons.
