The late Walter Kull ’20 was a standout in football, basketball, baseball and track.  He earned All-Ohio honors for the Big Red football teams in 1917 and 1919.  Kull played center for the Big Red basketball squads, was awarded All-Ohio recognition and helped the squad to a second-place finish in the OAC in the 1918-19 season.

A shot put and discus thrower in track, he captained the Denison thinclads during his senior season.  Kull owned the W.H. Kull Printing Co. in Cleveland, Ohio.
