Brian Maebius was a four-year letter winner and an All-American for the Denison men’s tennis team. He was named the team’s Most Valuable Player in 1992 and 1993 and was named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s All-America squad, in doubles, as a junior. He is a four-time NCAA participant (three in doubles, once in singles) and was a four-time All-NCAC honoree.

In 1994 he was named to the NCAC’s 10-year Anniversary team and as a senior he was awarded the highly prestigious Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sportsmanship and Leadership Award from the ITA.
