Ray Scott was a standout in basketball, football and baseball.  He earned All-Buckeye Conference honors in basketball in 1930-31 and 1931-32, and was named honorary captain of the All-Buckeye Conference team in 1931-32.  He was an All-Buckeye Conference selection in football in 1931, and earned All-Conference laurels in baseball in 1931 as well.  Scott served as president of the D Association in 1932.
