Alex Stewart graduated from Denison in 1937.  He was a three sport standout for the Big Red, earning three letters each in football, basketball and track.

Stewart earned All-Ohio football honors at his center position in 1936.  He also served as president of the Van Wert Manufacturing Company and the Universal Uniform Company.
