Ed Stone

Ed Stone graduated from Denison after an outstanding academic and athletic career. A four-time track letterman, Stone was named team captain and Most Valuable Player twice. He was also a three-time NCAA All-American while attending Denison, and currently holds school records with his participation in several relay events. His strongest events included the 300 and 400 yard dashes. Stone majored in Latin American studies and minored in American history at Denison, and was a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa honorary.
Following his graduation from DU, Stone went on to get a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Hartford in Connecticut. Stone has been committed to education, having taught at the high school level, and coached track and field at high schools and colleges in Ohio, Florida, and Connecticut.
