In 2011-12, Brian Ledford begins his first season as the assistant softball coach at Denison.

For the last nine years, Ledford has served as a coach and teacher in the Licking Valley School District.  Since 2003, he has served as a math teacher at Licking Valley High School.  During his nine-year coaching tenure at Licking Valley, the Carrollton, Ohio native has coached both baseball and basketball at multiple levels.

Most recently, Ledford completed a two-year stint as the head varsity baseball coach at Licking Valley High School.  In two seasons as junior varsity basketball coach, he compiled a 33-7 record, including a perfect 20-0 mark in 2006-07.

In May 2003, Ledford graduated from Muskingum College with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics.  He later returned to his alma mater and earned a master’s degree in education in 2007.
