Jeremy Petit enters his first season as a member of the Denison coaching staff.  A 2011 graduate of The College of Wooster, Petit brings a strong understanding of the North Coast Athletic Conference with him from his time as a Fighting Scot.

A native of Doylestown, Ohio and St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, Petit earned a bachelor of arts in political science from Wooster.  A four-year letterman at safety, Petit posted a career-high 56 tackles while starting all 10 games in 2010.  Despite missing nearly all of his junior season due to injury, Petit posted 92 career tackles and five interceptions.

Petit, who was a college teammate with fellow DU assistant coach Austin Holter, will coach the Denison defensive backs in 2011.
