Mike Workman is entering his third year as an assistant coach with the Big Red in 2011-12.

Last season the Big Red completed the conference's first undefeated regular season (25-0) and went on to capture the 2011 North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament for the sixth time out of the last seven seasons.  Led by All-American and NCAC Player of the Year, Shaina Kaiser, Denison took a 28-0 record into the NCAA Tournament where they suffered a loss to defending national champion and eventual national runner-up, Washington University.

Workman brings 25 years of basketball coaching experience to the Big Red sidelines. He has previously served as the head coach at Licking Heights High School, Reynoldsburg High School, and Granville High School.
