Student Employment
The Denison athletics complex is one of the largest employers of
students on the university campus. Students work in a wide variety
of positions requiring varying degrees of skill level, training,
and sometimes certification. Students may work as lifeguards;
facilities workers as equipment room, strength room, fitness room
and gymnasium monitors; intramural referee's and statisticians;
aerobic instructors; facility student supervisors; athletic
trainers and athletic training first aiders; varsity sports team
managers; or office assistants. Along with the regularly scheduled
positions, students are employed on an as-needed basis to cover
positions such as event setup and ticket sales, football game ball
boys, and field lining.
