Skills Clinic set for Feb. 26
The Denison University baseball program will be hosting their 2012 skills clinic on Sunday, February 26th at the Mitchell Athletic Center on the campus of Denison University.
The clinic consists of hitting stations, defense specialty work (drills conducted in groups of infield, outfield, catching and pitching), and base running stations. Participants are required to bring their own sneakers, glove, bat, baseball pants or sweats, and hat. The clinic is designed for athletes ages 8-18 and will run from 2:30-6 p.m., with registration scheduled for 2 p.m.
Denison Head Coach Mike Clark and the 2012 Big Red players will be staffing the clinic, along with assistant coaches Sean West and Zach Huttie.
The cost is $35 per player with a limit of 75 participants. Teams sending six or more players will receive a special rate. Pre-registration is recommended and can be done by emailing either Mike Clark or Zach Huttie.
