Sklenar is NCAC Offensive POW
Brandon Sklenar was named the NCAC Offensive Player of the Week after the win over Ohio Wesleyan.

After leading Denison to a dramatic double overtime win at Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday night, Brandon Sklenar was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

In just his fourth career start, he passed for 205 yards and rushed for a game-high 164 yards and two scores.  Trailing by seven with 1:12 remaining, Sklenar orchestrated a 7-play, 73-yard drive that lasted only 42 seconds.  He capped off the drive with a 20-yard TD pass to DuShawn Brown

In overtime, Sklenar scored on Denison's first play and Ohio Wesleyan countered with a Calvin Cagney touchdown, resulting in a second overtime.  A missed field goal by the Battling Bishops on its ensuing possession opened the door for the Big Red.  After two rushes by Sklenar resulted in a first down, Colin Morris took a pitch to the right and scampered 13-yards for the game-winning score.

Denison is 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the NCAC heading into this Saturday's game against DePauw University.
