The Denison men's swimmers made the short trip to Gambier, Ohio for the Kenyon Relays and the Big Red divers stayed home for the Denison Diving Relays. When the two events were combined and the scores were tabulated, DU placed second out of seven teams with 116 points. The team title went to Kenyon College with 120 points.
Denison finished either first or second in every event on Saturday at both locations. At the diving relays, Connor Dignan led the way with a strong six-dive score of 342.70. Ben Lewis followed with a score of 256.20.
In the one-meter relay, Connor Dorff and Lewis combined for a score of 548.55. Dorff's score of 287.85 was the highest individual score in the event.
At the Kenyon Swimming Relays, DU won the 200 breaststroke relay in 1:46.59. That relay was made up of Ben Sander, Damon Rosenburg, Spencer Fronk, and Al Nennig. DU also finished first in the 200 butterfly relay as Fronk, Conrad Wuorinen, Andrew Rich, and Jackson Humphrey touched in 1:31.96.
Denison returns to action next Saturday (Oct. 26) when they host Malone University at 1 p.m. from the Trumbull Aquatics Center.
