CLEVELAND, Ohio – Sophomore Addie Buzas was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week after a career performance at the College of Wooster this past Saturday.

In a 72-49 victory over the Fighting Scots on Dec. 16, Buzas set a new career-high with 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field, including 6-of-8 from behind the arc, also a career-best. The Scottsdale, Ariz. native also contributed five rebounds and two assists in Denison's first conference win of the season.

Buzas is currently leading the Big Red with 11.9 points per game and is tied for the team lead with 5.6 rebounds per game. DU will return to action on Friday, Dec. 29 when they compete in the 2017 Capital University/Marriott Christmas Tournament and take on tournament host Capital at 7 p.m.
