Denison in fourth at NCAC series
Amanda Castle led Denison with an 85 on Saturday in Meadville.

The Big Red sits in fourth place after an opening round 362 from the North Coast Athletic Conference Championship Series in Meadville, Pa.  Denison trails third-place Wittenberg by 12 strokes while Allegheny sits in second place with 330 and DePauw leads with 326.

Denison was led on Saturday by Stacey Adams and Amanda Castle who each fired identical rounds of 85.  Both went out in 41 and in 44 to tie for 12th place overall. Castle fired the lone birdie of the day and Adams carded a team-best 10 pars.

Elizabeth Tristano followed in 15th place with a 90 and Carly Schultz closed out DU's scoring with a 102.

Heading into Sunday's final round from Meadville Country Club, DU holds a 12-stroke lead over fifth-place Ohio Wesleyan.
