DU opens season with FOJ game

Denison University women's lacrosse team in collaboration with the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation will host the second annual Friends of Jaclyn Game at Deeds Field-Piper Stadium this Saturday, February 25 at 1 p.m.

The Big Red will host Waynesburg University in the season opener.  Denison asks that all fans come and support the Big Red's efforts to raise awareness about pediatric brain tumors and the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation.  The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization that improves the quality of life for children with pediatric brain tumors and their families.  Formed in 2005, FOJ matches a child in need of love, support and friendship with a college or high school sports team based on geographic basis.

If you would like to make a donation to the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, we will be selling t-shirts, wristbands, and donation boxes will be made available at Saturday's lacrosse game or contact Leanne Hollinger.
