The Denison women's tennis dropped a 7-2 decision to Division II Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Saturday afternoon at Alpha Tennis & Fitness in Pittsburgh, Pa.

The Big Red picked up points at second doubles and No. 1 singles.  The doubles team of senior Kelsey Geppner and sophomore Sarah Torrence edged out an 8-6 victory over freshmen Sophie Butland and Rachel Woods.

Geppner returned to court to pick up three-set win over IUP junior Tanya Timko.  The Denison senior dropped a 6-4 decision in the opening set before a 6-4 victory squared the flight at 1-1.  In the third-and-final set, Geppner doubled up Timko, 10-5, to secure DU's second point of the night.

Denison falls to 1-2 on the year, while the Crimson Hawks improve to 3-3.  The Big Red opens its home schedule on March 11 when they host Division II Ashland at 4 p.m.
