Strowder receives All-NCAC honors

Denison senior outside hitter Lauren Strowder earned All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors for the third time in her outstanding career.

Strowder was named to the All-NCAC second team after leading the conference in kills with a 3.66 average per set.  She also ranked second on the team in hitting percentage (.271) and solo blocks (12), and was third on the squad in total blocks with 34.  On Oct. 28 against Kenyon, the senior recorded a career-high 25 kills in a thrilling five-set victory over the Ladies.  She also posted 17 double-digit kill performances this season, including four 20+ kill outings.

During her four-year career, the Cleveland Heights native registered 1,136 kills which lands her fourth all-time on the school's career list.  Strowder also notched 154 blocks while in Granville.
