GRANVILLE, Ohio-- Denison's men's and women's swimming & diving teams are ranked No. 1 in the final TYR Top-25 Dual Meet Poll of the 2018-19 season. The poll is compiled and voted upon by members of the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The Denison women totaled 344 points in the final poll, finishing 12 points in front of Emory and Kenyon, who tied for second place with 332 points. On the men's side, Denison finished with 274 points, landing them 10 points ahead of Kenyon and 20 points in front of third-place Emory.
The Denison women are coming off a fourth-place finish at last year's NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championship. They qualified 14 swimmers and two divers to this year's championship which will take place on March 20-23 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The Denison men won the 2018 NCAA Division III national championship, they are sending the maximum 18 swimmers to this year's national championship, which will also occur on March 20-23 in Greensboro.
