Aaron Cole was a four-year letter winner and eight-time National Champion as a member of the Denison men’s swimming and diving team from 1997-2000. Cole remains one of the most decorated swimmers in the vaunted history of the program. He is one of just two Denison male swimmers to earn the maximum 28 All-America citations at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championship.
A first-team Academic All-America selection and NCAA Postgraduate Scholar, Cole was named the NCAA Division III Male Swimmer of the Year in 1999 and again in 2000. He still holds three Denison records and one NCAA record (100 fly in 47.43). As a team, the Denison swimmers and divers logged a pair of third-place national finishes and two, second-place finishes during Cole’s time at Denison.
