GRANVILLE, Ohio--  The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) has announced its new national rankings and National Team of the Week and Denison University is highlighted in both.  After improving to 3-0 on the season with an 11-10 win over No. 17 Roanoke, Denison has risen one spot (#3) in the latest USILA Division  III Top-20 poll.  All three of Denison's wins this season have come against nationally ranked opponents.

Also, for the second-straight week, Denison sophomore attackman Peter Pittroff was named to the USILA Team of the Week for his performance against Roanoke.  He scored three goals and three assists while adding four ground balls against the Maroons. He leads the team in goals (8) and assists (9).

Denison returns to the field on Wednesday, March 7, when they host Albion College at 4 p.m.  On Saturday, March 10, they will return to Piper Stadium to open North Coast Athletic Conference play against DePauw University at 2 p.m.
