CLEVELAND, Ohio – Sophomore goalie Reeves McKenney was named the North Coast Athletic Conference's Player of the Week following a 10 save performance in No. 9 Denison's 14-13 thrilling victory over No. 12 Washington & Lee in Granville on Saturday.

Highlighted by six saves in the first half, McKenney held the Generals to seven shots in the fourth quarter after W&L took a game-high 14 shots in the third. With the Big Red trailing 12-11 with 11:27 remaining in the game, Chris Haimbaugh, Wills Hutras, and Spencer Butler all scored during a 5:19 stretch to retake the lead and garner their first victory of the season.

McKenney finished with 10 saves in 60 minutes of action to open the season after compiling 50 saves in seven starts as a freshman.

McKenney and the Big Red will return to Piper Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 23 to play host to No. 18 Stevenson University at 3 p.m.
