CLEVELAND, Ohio – Junior Peter Pittroff was named the North Coast Athletic Conference's Athlete of Week on Monday afternoon following a pair of seven-point performances last week against Kenyon and Whittier.

In Tuesday's 15-12 comeback victory at Kenyon, Pittroff posted two goals and five assists on the day, including a pair of assists that helped the Big Red outscore the Lords 5-0 in the fourth quarter to secure the win. Pittroff's dominant week continued Saturday when he recorded three goals and four assists to help DU defeat Whittier College, 12-5, and give head coach Mike Caravana the 300th win of his coaching career.

Just like at Kenyon, the junior attackman racked up seven points on the day, moving him to 210 points in his career.  He currently sits in sixth-place in career points at Denison.  He needs only four points to move into fifth place and 11 points to jump to third place.

On the season, the Charlotte, N.C. native currently leads the team with 71 points on 23 goals and a team-best 48 assists.

Pittroff and the Big Red will return to action on Wednesday, April 17 when they travel to the College of Wooster for a 7 p.m. face-off with the Fighting Scots.
