CLEVELAND, Ohio – Senior Brooks Davy was named the North Coast Athletic Conference's Player of the Week for the first time in his career on Monday following a pair of stellar scoring performances in last week's sweep of Wooster and Wittenberg.

On Wednesday at Wooster, Davy went off for a season-high eight goals on eight shots to help lead the Big Red to a 23-9 victory over the Fighting Scots. Fast forward to Saturday, Davy led DU once again in scoring with five goals while adding an assist in Denison's 17-10 comeback win over Wittenberg.

Helping the Big Red improve to 12-2 overall and 6-0 in the NCAC, the Wilmington, N.C. native finished the week with 13 goals, 14 points, and four ground balls. On the season, Davy is second on the team with 40 goals while adding 12 assists, 15 ground balls and 52 points.

He is also currently tied with Emmett Jones (2008-11) for fourth all-time in program history with 131 career goals.

Davy and the Big Red will return to action on Tuesday, April 23 when they travel to Hiram College for a 7 p.m. matchup with the Terriers.
