Denison rolls past Hiram setting up Saturday's clash with OWU

HIRAM, Ohio—No. 11 Denison improved to 7-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference after a 25-3 win over Hiram College.  The victory sets up a season finale clash with Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday, April 27 for the NCAC championship.

In limited action, Brooks Davy scored five goals and Spencer Butler added three goals for the Big Red.  Doug Godine tallied six points (4 goals, 2 assists) and Brant Pittman racked up three goals and one assist.

Reeves McKenney played the first half in goal and finished with four saves.  TJ Spahn and Stephen Paras played the second half in goal for DU.

The Big Red outshot the Terriers 57-15 they also won 20-of-31 faceoffs.  Eric Pincus was 13-for-18 and Steven Villacorta was 7-for-13.  Chris Broderick led the defense with four caused turnovers and three ground balls.

Saturday's regular season NCAC title game will be played at Selby Stadium in Delaware, Ohio at 2 p.m.  Watch parties are being held in various cities across the country. Check https://alumni.denison.edu for more information.
