GRANVILLE, Ohio--  Denison men's soccer won its third-straight match on Saturday as they handed Wittenberg a 4-0 defeat.

It was Senior Day at Barclay-Thomsen Field and they made an impact, accounting for three of the team's four goals.

The match was scoreless until the 34th minute and that's when Big Red senior Adrian Miller stole the ball and scored from just outside the 18-yard box.  For Miller, it was the second goal of the season in what was just his second career start.

Early in the second half, Denison took a 2-0 lead after Luke Summers stole the ball deep in Denison's offensive third.  He touched the ball past the keeper and was all alone, scoring on the empty net.

Six minutes later, Miller struck again, this time when he scored from inside the 18 on the far side of the field on a low strike.

The final goal went to senior defender David Reina in the 72nd minute.  Burke McLaughlin's header was received by Reina from about eight yards away and was poked into the lower left corner of the goal. It marked the first goal in 36 career matches for Reina.

Denison outshot Wittenberg 22-7 and put nine of those 22 shots-on-goal.  Wittenberg backup goalkeeper Harrison Vantilburg was busy in his 19 minutes of action, posting four saves.  The starter, Jason Bowen, finished with one save in 71 minutes.

Denison keeper Dylan Brown did not have to make a save in 73 minutes.  Colin Cramer posted one save in 17 minutes between the pipes.

With the win, DU improves to 3-1-1 in North Coast Athletic Conference play.  They will host Wabash College on Wednesday (Oct. 17) at 4 p.m.
