Denison junior Quenton Richards was named North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for sprints/hurdles for his performance at the Big Red Invitational.
Richards shined at DU's only home meet of the outdoor season last Friday. The Franklin, Ohio native took home the 100-meter dash title with a time of 11.14, while his time of 22.96 was the fastest in the 200-meter event. Richards was also part of the third-place 4x100 relay team alongside Wallace Branche, Lucas Romick and Ian Mulmat.
Denison returns to competition next weekend at the 2015 NCAC Outdoor Championship hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University. Friday's field events will begin at 12 p.m., while the men's running events are set to start at 3 p.m.
