Denison sophomore Zach Munn was named North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Distance Runner of the Week for his performance at Carnegie Mellon last weekend.
Munn helped the Big Red to a third-place finish by providing points as a member of the 4x400 relay team. The grouping of Mitch Keller, Munn, Niall Clancey and Michael Bonebrake turned in a time of 3:33.14 which resulted in a fourth-place finish. Munn also turned in a seventh-place showing in the 800 after crossing the finish line in 1:59.33. The sophomore's performance currently ranks him third in the NCAC in that event.
The Big Red returns to action next weekend (April 1-2) at the VertKlasse Meeting held at High Point University in High Point, N.C.
