POWELL, Ohio-- Denison's Ben Foster and Adam Cromwell finished 1-2, respectively out of a field of 129 runners on Saturday at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational. That helped lead the Big Red to a second-place finish with 75 team points.
Foster broke the tape by covering the 8K course at Liberty Park in 26:05.8. Cromwell was 13.7 seconds behind Foster and that was good enough for second place, overall.
Sophomore Keanan Ginell was 14th with a time of 27:08.6. Senior Clayton Watters finished just outside of the top-20, crossing in 27:32.0. Denison's fifth score came from sophomore Millan Henegar who ended in 28:11.0.
Also competing for DU was sophomore Calvin Riley (28.23.0), Kenny Connelly (28.42.3), Zack Johnston (28.49.2), Rhys Fitschen-Brown (25:51.8), Benjamin Rumsfeld (29:51.3), Jacob Rains (30:56.4), and Henri Hegemier (32:55.8).
Ohio Northern took home the team title with a winning score of 51 thanks to five runners in the top 17. Wilmington followed Denison in third place with 92 points. Fourth place belonged to Earlham.
