CLEVELAND, Ohio – Denison men's cross country was recognized by the North Coast Athletic Conference on Monday afternoon as senior Ben Foster was named the NCAC Athlete of the Week following his first-place finish at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday morning in Powell, Ohio. This marks Foster's third NCAC Athlete of the Week honor for his cross country career.

Competing with 128 other runners on Saturday, Foster paced the field on the 8K course by placing first overall with a final time of 26:05.8. This marked Foster's second-straight individual title after winning the Denison/Wooster Dual on Sept. 5 with a 3-mile time of 16:38.6. The Westport, Conn. native has placed in the top-four in all three competitions this season.

Foster & Co. will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 28 when they take part in the All-Ohio Championship hosted at Cedarville University.
