CLEVELAND, Ohio – Junior Emmy Timberlake was named the North Coast Athletic Conference's Player of the Week after leading the Big Red to a second-place finish at the Bridgewater Fall Invitational this past weekend in Harrisonburg, Va.

Following the cancellation of Sunday's final round due to weather, Timberlake led all DU competitors with a six-over par 78 through the tournament's lone round to finish in a tie for third place with Stevenson's Julia Kline and Christopher Newport's Sherya Ganta.

Earning the second NCAC Player of the Week honor for her career, the Charlottesville, Va. native also recorded her first top-five finish of the season as she finished one stroke back of Eastern Mennonite's Olyvia Longacre in second place.

Denison will return to the links on October 6-7 for Wittenberg's Pat Close Invitational hosted at the Springfield Country Club.
