SPRINGFIELD, Ohio—More records continued to fall for the Denison women's golf team after a second place finish at the Pat Clouse Invitational at Springfield Country Club.  The Big Red fired a new two-day school-record total of 634 to finish seven strokes off the winning pace set by the host, Wittenberg Tigers.

Denison's Emmy Timberlake posted the low round of the tournament on Sunday with an even-par round of 72.  Her two-day total of 151 landed her in second place on the leaderboard.  First-year Sophia Alexander was right behind at 153 after a 77 on Sunday.  Megan Wong carded an 80 in her second round after an 81 on Saturday. Her two-round total of 161 was enough to land her in the top-10.

Megan Munn posted rounds of 82 and 87 to tie for 17th while Olivia Cowley turned in rounds of 90 and 87.  Denison's scoring was rounded out by Nicole Wetoska who shot an 86 on Saturday and a 92 on Sunday.

Wittenberg was led by overall medalist Madison Wolters who shot rounds of 73 and 76.

The previous 36-hole best for Denison was a 644 posted in 2016.
