MANSFIELD, Ohio – Denison women's golf shot a 347 during the second round of action to place third overall at the 2019 North Coast Athletic Conference Championship on Sunday afternoon at the Westbrook Country Club in Mansfield, Ohio. Finishing the weekend with 679 team strokes, the Big Red finished 26 strokes back of second-place Wittenberg (653) while DePauw claimed their second-straight NCAC title with a team score of 649.

Finishing with a pair of golfers in the top-five, Denison was led by junior Emmy Timberlake who finished with a 155 over the 36-hole tournament to finish second overall and earn first-team All-NCAC accolades for the second time in her career after placing third overall in last year's tournament.

Sophomore Megan Wong also earned a first-team All-NCAC selection after firing a 160 for the weekend and finishing fifth overall. Freshman Sophia Alexander finished the tournament shooting 179 to place 17th overall while Megan Munn rounded out the team scoring in 23rd place with a 187.

Ellie Broker also competed for DU and finished the weekend with a 192 to place 25th.

The Big Red finished the spring season with four finishes in the top three, including a pair of team victories at the Calvin Celebration Classic and the Wooster Spring Invitational.
