SPRINGFIELD, Ohio--  Denison poured in 14 first-half goals en route to a resounding 23-6 win over Wittenberg on Wednesday night.  The Big Red scored twice in the opening minute of the game and led 4-1 after minute minutes.  A 7-0 run to close out the first half put the contest out of reach.

Sophomore Kiely Noonan scored a team-high five goals while Claudia Rafi added six points on three goals and three assists.  Maddy Heher tallied a hat-trick on five shot attempts and Leah Israel finished with two goals, two assists, and three draw controls.  First-year Liza Farnham had a multi-goal game with two scores and one helper.

Hannah Magarian and Becca Jones split the game in goal for Denison.  Magarian finished with four saves while Jones had one.

The victory runs Denison's winning streak in North Coast Athletic Conference games to 25. The win moves their record to 9-2 overall and 4-0 in the NCAC.  The Big Red will host Wooster on Saturday (April 14) at 1 p.m.
