CLEVELAND, Ohio – Senior Jane Goodspeed was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the first time in her career on Monday after breaking multiple records in Saturday's victory over DePauw.

Helping the Big Red secure a 25-3 win over DePauw on Saturday, Goodspeed broke her own single-game record with 18 draw controls in the dominant victory. The impressive mark also vaulted her into the program's all-time leader for draw controls with 322, passing Carly Tschantz '12 who held the previous record with 315.

The senior also added nine draw controls and four ground balls in Denison's 14-6 win over Wooster on Wednesday, April 10.

A native of East Grand Rapids, Mich., Goodspeed currently leads DU with 120 draw controls, 36 caused turnovers, and 54 ground balls this season.

Goodspeed & Co. will return to action this Tuesday, April 16 when they host Wittenberg University at 4:30 p.m.
