Entering singles action with a 2-1 advantage, the Big Red opened singles play with Hawley posting a 6-0, 6-4 win over Galle, while her doubles partner Alsup also garnered a victory with a 7-5, 6-0 defeat of Amanda Showalter.

In No. 3 singles, Cash turned in a 6-0, 6-2 straight-set victory over Morris and Cianciola defeated Love, 6-0, 6-1 in the fourth flight. Seniors Megan Hickey and Ashley Hammons each posted victories in No. 5 & No. 6 play to round out the team win for Denison.

Prior to the start of the match, seniors Lauren Hawley, Emma Alsup, Megan Hickey, Ashley Hammons, Courtney Brown, and Charlotte Purnode were recognized for their dedication to the women's tennis program and for their accomplishments while at Denison.

The Big Red will round out the dual match regular season on Saturday, April 20 when they travel to Lima, Ohio for a 9 a.m. matchup with the University of Northwestern Ohio.
