Denison sophomore Tiffany Davis repeated as North Coast Athletic Conference Sprinter/Hurdler of the Week after logging a pair of victories at last weekend's Fighting Scots Invitational.
For the second week in a row, Davis won both the 60 and the 200-meter dashes. The sophomore posted a time of 8.01 in the 60-meter, finishing in front of Baldwin-Wallace's Brittany Sterling. In the 200, Davis once again finished ahead of Sterling after clocking in at 26.24. Her time in the event was four hundredths of a second faster than her previous best and marked the second-best performance in school history.
Denison returns to action at the Ohio Wesleyan University open on Friday. On Saturday, select Big Red athletes will compete at the annual Division III All-Ohio Championship hosted by Otterbein University. Both meets are scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.
