Denison senior Aedin Brennan collected her 11th-career North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honor following her performance in the All-Ohio pentathlon.
Brennan took second at last Sunday's event after totaling 3,562 points across the five-event pentathlon. The senior posted personal-best performance in the 60 hurdles (9.32) and high jump (5'3.25") before winning the shot put with a toss of 36'1.25". Brennan rounded out the event by taking third in the long jump (17'6") and second in the 800-meter run (2:27.43).
Brennan currently ranks in the top-5 in the NCAC in six different events. She ranks first in the pentathlon and triple jump (37'7.25"), third in the 60 hurdles (9.32) and long jump (17'6"), fourth in the high jump (5'3.25" and fifth in the 800 (2:27.43). Denison returns to action this Saturday at the All-Ohio Championship hosted by Otterbein University. Both running and field events are scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.
