Denison's Hannah Hall was named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III All-Academic squad. To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and must have either competed in the NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship or finished the regular season ranked in the national top-50 in an individual event or be ranked in the national top-35 in a relay event.
Hall became an All-American for the first time in her career after placing fourth in the high jump at the 2017 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship. She became the first Denison female track & field athlete to earn an All-American certificate in the high jump. She cleared 5'7.75" at the national championship which set a new program record at Denison.
Hall is a three-time national qualifier in the high jump. In 2016, she placed 10th at the Outdoor Championship and earlier this year she placed 15th at the 2017 NCAC Indoor Championship. She is a two-time North Coast Athletic Conference Champion in the event and a six-time all-conference performer.
The New Richmond, Ohio native recently completed her junior season at Denison. She is majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry.
