GRANVILLE, Ohio-- Denison seniors Arlesha Cospy and Hannah Hall have qualified for the 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship in La Crosse, Wisconsin on May 24-25.  Cospy will compete on Thursday (May 24) in the women's discus and Hall will compete on Friday (May 25) in the women's high jump.

This marks the third-straight appearance at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship for Cospy. She placed 16th at nationals last year with a distance of 40.09 meters.  This season she is seeded ninth out of 22 qualifiers after a personal-best throw of 46.80 meters at the Big Red Invitational on April 27.  Cospy holds the North Coast Athletic Conference record in the discus (45.67m) set in 2016.

This is the fourth appearance at nationals for Hall.  She is making her third appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championship after qualifying for the NCAA Indoor Championship in 2017.  Last year, Hall tied for fourth and earned her first career All-American certificate by clearing 5'7" at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship in Geneva, Ohio.  Hall is a two-time NCAC Champion in the high jump.  Her career-best height of 1.72 meters was set in March 2017 at Oberlin College.  She is seeded 20th out of 22 jumpers with a qualifying height of 1.66 meters set at the Baldwin-Wallace Harrison Dillard Twilight meet on May 11.  In Hall's three previous trips to nationals, she has placed 4th (2017 – Outdoor), 15th (2017 – Indoor), 10th (2016 – Outdoor).

Cospy will compete on Thursday, May 24 at 1:30 p.m. at the throws venue diagonal to Roger Harring Stadium on the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse campus.

Hall will compete on Friday, May 25 at 2 p.m. inside of Roger Harring Stadium.  The meet will be streamed live by Turner Sports but coverage of all events is not guaranteed.  To access the live stream, visit ncaa.com.
