Big Red Field is the home to the Denison University baseball team. One of the finest facilities in the region, the field served as the home of the North Coast Athletic Conference Championship Series in 2007, 2008 and again in 2010. The facility has undergone a number of incremental renovations over the last decade. In 2022, the Big Red played their first game on their new turf infield. In 2019, a new brick backstop with netting was added. In 2015, the infield was replaced and new lighted hitting tunnels were constructed down the left field line. In 2006 four, 75-foot television quality lights were installed at the field, making it one just a handful of college baseball venues in the state of Ohio equipped for night games. In addition to the lights, a new press box and concessions stand was built in 2007 and 160 chair-back seats were installed behind home plate and down the left field line.
